bio of Richmond grower on IG, Mr.Bauer

"thank you my friend - John Baxter
Im not sure how to start... My growing experience started before and after serving in the Army. From 1971 on, I grew on and off with seeds collected from my purchased bagies for a few years until my technical career required abstinence from marijuana. In 2021, I retired and started learning how to grow inexpensively with technology. Todays growing knowledge is fantastic compared to the old days - hahaha. AC Infinity automation has enabled incredible growing ease and results. I learned quickly that good growing is enabled by good seed breeders. In 2024, I got some Hawaiian Sunset seeds from John Baxter. That year was terrible for growing outside. Every other strain grown outside died from fungus and mold. Only the Hawaiian Sunset survived outside. Cuttings were made, and feminized seeds were produced for HalfSkull. It was a pleasure to produce the feminized seeds as a sincere thank you.

Cannabis History

Hemp and cannabis have a rich history that spans thousands of years, deeply intertwined with human civilization. Early records suggest that hemp was one of the first plants cultivated by humans, with its fibers used for textiles, ropes, and paper. Ancient cultures such as the Chinese, Egyptians, and Greeks valued hemp for its versatility and medicinal properties. Cannabis, which includes both hemp (a variety with low THC content) and marijuana (high in THC), was used for a variety of purposes, from medicinal remedies to recreational use. In the early 20th century, cannabis faced increased regulation and stigmatization, particularly in the United States, where it was criminalized in the 1930s. However, in recent decades, there has been a resurgence of interest in hemp and cannabis, driven by a growing understanding of its therapeutic benefits and environmental sustainability. Today, hemp is legally grown in many parts of the world for its seeds, oil, and fibers, while cannabis is being reconsidered for its medicinal and recreational properties, with ongoing debates about its legalization. The growing awareness of its benefits is shaping the future of hemp and cannabis as a sustainable resource for a wide range of industries.
